Capacity building for Ukrainian regional policy stakeholders

Expected Impact: Regions of Ukraine are equipped with knowledge, best practices and skills for active participation in the EU accession process and cohesion policy planning and implementation following internal coordination at interregional level thematically. Decision makers of Ukrainian regions possess necessary skills to advance their regional development strategies, proactively participate in the national level policy making and programming and international cooperation in the domain of regional and urban development. Sustainability of the project results to be ensured through the knowledge transfer by means of making the learning materials available online for the next generation of regional public officials in charge of the EU integration in close coordination with the Ministry for development of regions and territories of UA. Expected Outcome: Awareness concerning the EU cohesion policy is increased in Ukraine at subnational level and the knowledge exchange and transfer between authorities is ensured through networking and availability of online education tools.
